Tuesday 16th March

Today was another good day, you know the strange thing since starting this diet I have only drank water….no tea/coffee or coke which is amazing for me and I have to admit I feel better for it.  My skin, nails and hair have improved so I’m putting that down to the water.  I tried the Lamb Tagine tonight from the cook book, I have to admit I wasn’t keen, think it was the orange taste so not sure I’ll bother with that again!

Wednesday 17th March

I had my milkshakes and grapefruit for breakfast and lunch and then for my afternoon snack I made a small salad which was nice for a change.  I had to do the radio interview which was a disaster and wonderful Ant, Ema and Matt arranged for me to do it again, I was in work when Matt called so couldn’t find a quiet room, ended up down a fire escape….classy I know! Anyway then some workman started banging downstairs so had to run to another one on the opposite side of the building by the time I got there I was shattered and sounded like a heavy breather down the phone, I was so flustered that I couldn’t remember what to say….I’m so professional….NOT!!  I’ve learnt my lesson for next week and booked a meeting room!

My friends and family have been so supportive; Diane emailed me today from Canada to see how it was all going, which was nice.  Its only 5 months to Diane’s wedding so hopefully I should be a couple of dress sizes smaller in the bridesmaid dress which would be lovely.

This is my best friend Diane and my daughter Lauren at our wedding in Italy last year (I want to look like that in my bridesmaid dress….I wish!)

Thursday 18th March

Had the normal shakes, grapefruit and nuts today and then Gez made a chilli for tea (with salad no rice) Still feeling fantastic, I really am feeling so positive and Lauren is still saying that I’m not a grumpy mum in a morning, which is nice!  I went to a personal trainer tonight at the gym, the man is a star.  He’s so understanding and gave me a fantastic workout and we even did boxing which I absolutely love and am so looking forward to next week. He knows about the Celebrity Slim diet so knows what we want and what we’re all going through.  Thanks Andy and Jo for helping sort this out!  Thinking I wont be able to move in the morning so whether or not I’ll still think he’s great then I’m not sure ha ha!

 Friday 19th March

Well it’s the weekend again and I’ve only a week left till I finish work, excited but nervous at the same time.  We’ve decided that I can take a couple of months off so that will be nice, concentrate on Lauren, be able to take her to and from school and go to the gym!  Got quite a busy weekend which is good it will keep me away from the biscuits, we’re off shopping tomorrow and to get some paint as the kitchen needs decorating (I might aswell make the most of this energy while I have it) and then Hannah, my step daughter is round on Sunday so we’re all off to the gym… Well bye for this week, have a great weekend!
