Tuesday 20th April

 
So pleased about my weight loss yesterday its really spurred me on to do well this week, just really worried that we have so much on its going to be hard to resist all the food temptations while we’re away but I’ll give it a go.  Got up early and went to the gym, did about an hour and 10 minutes then came home and had my shake, grapefruit for snack and I had to go out this afternoon so unfortunately missed my afternoon shake but had a snack bar when I came home.  Gez made tea tonight and I had chilli with bean sprouts, still managing to drink all my water so didn’t eat all of it as I was really full so that’s good.
Wednesday 21st April

Got up early and took the dog for a quick walk before taking Lauren to school, this diet has given me so much energy even the dog is benefitting…. I feel great at the moment just hope it lasts, I am planning to stay on Celebrity Slim until the end of June/beginning of July as I would really love to lose more weight then I can get into all my old clothes and look great for Diane at her wedding in August.  Had my shakes, I tried a soup to see if I had changed and may be liked it….nope! it was too thick so definitely staying on the shakes.  Gez and Lauren are planning a meal for my birthday tomorrow and they have told me not to worry as its all in line with Celebrity Slim (so no chinese or indian take away for me then!) For tea we had omelette and salad, really enjoying light food at the moment I think its because it doesn’t take that much to fill me but also with the warm weather I don’t feel like hot food.
Thursday 22nd April
Happy Birthday to me!! I was woken up to Gez and Lauren singing happy birthday, holding presents, cards and a strawberry shake, so sweet.  We sat and opened my presents and cards and then took Lauren to school.  I decided I may as well go to the gym so went there and then called to mum and dads which was lovely, opened more cards and presents and had a really good natter.  When I came home I just had a shake as I knew Gez and Lauren were doing 2 courses for dinner so decided that I wouldn’t be hungry if I had my afternoon shake.  The meal was beautiful, they did asparagus wrapped in parma ham with a poached egg for starter, then for main a lovely piece of steak, grilled mushroom and a beef tomato, I did have 2 glasses of wine as a treat well after all we did without the birthday cake.  Thank to all my family for a lovely day, really enjoyed it.
Friday 23rd April

 
Got up and had my shake, Lauren is off school today full of a cold so not going to the gym just going to have a lazy day at home I think and we can cuddle up and watch films (probably Star Wars if Lauren is choosing).  So not really a lot to tell you about today unless you want to know the script of Return of the Jedi and Revenge of the Sith.  Just had a chicken salad for tea cant be bothered cooking anything.  We’re off to Stratford Upon Avon this weekend as Gez is running the marathon, very proud of him, he must be mad but he’s doing a half marathon, marathon and triathlon in aid of cancer research which is amazing..
Saturday 24th April

Got up early and went to the gym and came back buzzing, I did 40 minutes on the cross trainer and then 40 minutes on the treadmill, 20 walking on an incline then 20 minutes running, felt great, I feel quite embarrassed running where people can see me but this diet has built my confidence up so much I didn’t care and it wasn’t that busy anyway, but a few weeks ago I wouldn’t have even tried.  We dropped Lauren at mum and dads at lunchtime she seems a lot better but wouldn’t want to miss staying with her grandparents for anything.  We drove to Litchfield to stay with my brother in law, had a lovely night we went to an Italian, it was hard and I did have a piece of garlic bread but for a main course just had a chicken fillet wrapped in parma ham and no dessert so it could have been a lot worse, we had a really nice walk home through the city and along the river which helped walk off the garlic bread.  I’ve brought my shakes and nuts with me so hopefully I should be good and not give in anymore to temptation.
 

Sunday 25th April

Another early get up, Gez and his brother left for Stratford at about 7am and then me and Emily (my niece) went down about 9.30am, we parked up and went and found the finishing line, Gez was aiming to finish in 4 hours so we had plenty of time to walk round.  I had my shake and Em had a McDonalds she felt really guilty about eating in front of me but I told her it was fine (very sweet of her to worry though).  Peter (Gez brother) finished the half marathon and did a really good time, we waited for Gez to finish the 26miles, he did in 4 hours and 29minutes which I think was fantastic, he wasn’t too chuffed but I was so proud.  We left there and walked back though Stratford, had some lunch on the way with Peter and Emily….an all you can eat buffet!! how cruel was that! I had 2 vegetable pakora some sliced pork and a salad so was really pleased with myself.

 

 

Monday 26th April

Had a bit of a lie in this morning, we booked into the Travelodge in Stratford which was nice and meant we had a couple of days to chill out and for Gez to try and recover from yesterday.  Had the shakes and snacks but feel really bloated (shouldn’t have eaten that pakora).  I think we’re driving back tomorrow we were going to stay till Wednesday but missing Lauren so much and need to get back to weigh in as well (that I am not looking forward to)

Tuesday 27th April
Got up early and drove home, I met Andy the Personal Trainer at the gym and now I can barely type, he did a great workout and the boxing felt like I had two lead weights at the end of my arms not great really but really enjoyed it.  Went to Asda as we had no food in and don’t want to be tempted with take away so needed to get the salad stuff in, came home and had my shake and went an picked Lauren up from school, did a bit of cleaning and make sticky asian pork with bean sprouts for tea, very nice and a Celebrity Slim recipe too.  Going to have an early night tonight and get to the chemist for my weigh in, really looking forward to Friday (the final) to see everyone and see how well they have done.�
Wednesday 28th April
Well its arrived….the final weigh in and I’m gutted….nearly a pound on, wish I had had an absolute blow out at the weekend now! Ah well I’ve got 2 days to get it off before Friday so going to have a really good go!
